|
|
| Ashland, United States. The orial Ashland
Springs Hotel was built in 1925 and was once the
tallest building between San Francisco and
Portland. Reopened after a complete renovation
project in December 2000. Calming colors of
apricot, melon and pear evoke an era of relaxed
comfort and elegance in the seventy tastefully
furnished, non-smoking guest rooms. Dramatic views
through oversized windows of Grizzly Peak and the
surrounding hills and town are unsurpassed in
Ashland. All rooms feature hand-painted
lampshades, crisp white linens and French down
blankets. The grand two-story lobby is filled with
vintage furniture and collections of books and
orial naturalistic specimen. 19th century
collection of pressed herbs from Paris flea market
is displayed throughout the hotel. Palm-filled
conservatory reminds of sunny summer days
somewhere in France. Every meeting room has its
own theme, a story to learn and enjoy. |
